HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Waimanalo dog breeders charged with animal cruelty have decided to seek a jury trial.
The court date has been bumped up a week to July 14.
The criminal case involves 153 counts of animal cruelty against Bradley International, which owns the puppy mill.
Each count carries a penalty of a year in prison and a $2,000 fine.
The Hawaiian Humane Society and foster families continue to care for the animals.
