HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Police Department received 94 calls for fireworks violations over the Fourth of July weekend.
According to HPD, it's a 76 percent decrease from the 387 calls received last year.
Officials say one citation was issued for illegal use of fireworks in a public park. No one was arrested.
HPD would like to thank the public for their kokua in observing Oahu's fireworks ban.
