HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A brief malfunction caused a Delta Airlines flight to return to Honolulu Friday morning.
According to a Delta Airlines spokesperson, flight 1150 departed to Los Angeles and turned around after the pilot saw the warning light above the plane's left engine.
The plane returned to the Honolulu International Airport at about 9:30 a.m.
A maintenance crew inspected the engine and determined everything was okay.
A few hours later, the flight took off again for Los Angeles.
None of the 224 passengers on board were injured.
