HILO (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two Hilo men accused of causing extensive graffiti damage to a Big Island school campus have been charged.
Dezmond Marquise Bonaparte, 20, and Robert Lindbergh, 20, were charged with second-degree criminal property damage after they allegedly tagged various Hilo High School buildings and fixtures.
According to officials, the incident was reported by a security officer just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
The damages are estimated at $2,000.
Bail for both suspects were set at $2,000 each.
