Big Island police need help identifying driver in fatal accident

CAPTAIN COOK, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Big Island police need help finding the driver in a fatal vehicle and pedestrian crash. It happened on the Hawaii Belt Road in Captain Cook June 10th.

Police are asking for help in identifying the driver of a silver or pewter 2002 Chevrolet Blazer, license JGX 345. Authorities found the vehicle on June12th after following public tips. They believe it was driven by a Hispanic man who frequents South Kona, with the nickname, "Mijo."
