Chinatown bank robbery suspect arrested in Hauula

HAUULA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police arrested a woman in Hauula in connection with Friday's robbery of the Chinatown branch of Bank of Hawaii.

According to investigators, Debbie Yxcot, 40, was arrested after officers were went to an argument near a beach park in the Hauula area Saturday. The suspect was recognized as the possible bank robbery and was arrested. She faces a charge of first-degree robbery.

Yxcot is accused of being the female robber who entered the Bank of Hawaii Friday morning. Police said the suspect approached a teller and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot on North King Street.
