Ocean Policy Listening Session

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - NOAA is hosting a National Ocean Policy Listening Session in Honolulu. The purpose is to gather input on the Strategic Action Plan that will guide the implementation of the United States National Ocean Policy; as established by Executive Order by President Obama in July 2010.

Andrew Winer, NOAA Director of Strategic Issues will moderate a panel including representatives of the National Marine Fisheries Service, the U. S. Navy and the Hawaiian and Pacific Islands National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
