LAHAINA, Maui (HawaiiNewsNow) - Funeral services were held for a little girl who was killed by a falling rock Friday morning.
Eight-year-old Sophia DeLoria died as she hiked on the Pipiwai Trail near Waimoku Falls last week.
She was a student at King Kamehameha III Elementary School in Lahaina.
The memorial service took place at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Lahaina at 9 a.m.
Later in the day, family and friends will scatter her ashes at sea.
