HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Three more University of Hawaii pitchers were taken on the final day of the Major League Baseball draft.
Pitcher Randy Yard was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in round 36.
Seven rounds later, it was Alex Capaul getting the call from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
And last, but not least, Connor Little goes to the Florida Marlins in the 49th round.
In all, 19 college and high school players with Hawaii ties were drafted.
