HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The fate of two men accused of stabbing and robbing a taxi driver in Manoa in 2008 is now in the hands of an Oahu jury.

Courage Elkshoulder and John Walton are each charged with second-degree attempted murder and first-degree robbery. Jurors began deliberations Tuesday morning.

The defendants are accused of directing a cabbie to drive to the back of Manoa Valley, and then attacking him. The victim, Minh Tran, 54, suffered stab wounds to his neck and arm, as well as lacerations to his hand.

Tran recovered from his injuries and testified against his alleged attackers during the trial.
