KALIHI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have opened a first-degree robbery case after nine people reported being held up at gunpoint at a suspected gambling room in Kalihi Monday night.

Investigators say three men stormed into a business on Puuhale Road at about 9 PM, wielding a shotgun and a baton. Eight male victims -- ranging in age from 17 to 74 -- and a 33-year-old female victim reportedly were tied up and searched.

Police say the suspects fled the scene with cash and jewelry.

None of the victims was hurt.
