Man arrested for second-degree attempted murder, reckless endangering

MAKAHA (HawaiiNewsNow) - New details have surfaced in the Makaha attempted murder case reported Sunday.

According to police, a 57-year-old man was speeding in his vehicle at Makaha Beach.

When another man waved at him to slow down, the suspect allegedly drove his vehicle at him.

The 24-year-old victim jumped to the side to avoid getting hit. He suffered minor scratches.

Police followed the suspect to his home where he was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder and reckless endangering.
