UH Manoa security searching for 2 men in faculty apartment break-in

MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - University of Hawaii Manoa Campus Security is searching for two suspects in connection with a mauka faculty apartment break-in that occurred Wednesday.

According to Campus Security officials, the incident happened around 2:30 p.m.

According to the Campus Security release, a family member was at the Manoa Valley home during the break-in, but went upstairs to the bathroom and dialed 911.

The suspects are described as two males in their 40s.

Suspect No. 1 is described as 5'8", medium build, between 160 and 180 pounds. He has black hair (possibly a crew cut), brown eyes and a brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a brown T-shirt with a flower design and beige shorts.

Suspect No. 2 is described as 5'8" to 5'10", medium build, between 160 and 180 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and beige jeans or pants.

According to officials, the suspects may have been operating a Dodge Magnum hatchback.
