Army National Guard unveils new unmanned aircraft

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii National Guard unveiled its new unmanned aircraft on Tuesday.

The RQ-7B Shadow 200 has a 14-foot wingspan and weighs only 380 pounds.

It can provide reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition.

Soldiers from Company B of the 29th Brigade Special Troops Unit have been training with the aircraft and will use them for a possible deployment in 2013.
