SUSPECTED SEXUAL PREDATOR ARRESTED

Minna Sugimoto reports on how a young girl helped authorities catch a suspected child sexual predator. And this want just some stranger off the street, this is a security guard and also a school lunch monitor. Minna picks up the story from there, tonight at 5.

HIRONO THROWS HER HAT IN THE RING

Saying she was encouraged by her supporters, U.S. Representative Hirono today declared her candidacy for Senator Akaka's U.S. Senate seat. Akaka has said he will not seek re-election when his term ends in 2012. We'll have more on Mazie's announcement, tonight on Hawaii News Now.
