Do My Job: Steph and Shawn make sausage

If the hat fits. If the hat fits.
Skilled labor. Skilled labor.
Looking on in amazement. Looking on in amazement.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Here in Hawaii it's a must-have for breakfast with your eggs and rice; Portuguese Sausage! Would you believe it can take up to two days just to make one?

Shawn and Steph found out just how much work goes into making our favorite food at the Pacific Sausage factory in Kalihi.

The small business is family owned and operated by the Holusa ohana who started up operations in 1970. Every week, the factory produces about 10,000 different types of sausages. The best-seller of course, is none other than the mouth-watering Portuguese Sausage!

See video of their work with city groundskeepers.
