KALHI WOMAN DEAD; SON ARRESTED
Police say a 56 year old Kalihi woman was the victim of a vicious attack at the hands of her own child. Honolulu Police arrested the woman's 27 year old son this morning. Tonight at 5, Minna Sugimoto shows us exclusive video of the man's arrest and will have the latest information from the scene.
WALKING & TALKING MAY BE A NO-NO SOON
Do you walk and talk on your cell phone while crossing the street? A Resolution making its way through the Honolulu City Council may make it against the law to do just that. Who introduced the measure; and how close is it to becoming a city ordinance? Lisa Kubota will have the details, tonight at 5.
TREES REMOVED FOR OAHU RAIL TRANSIT LINE
As the City's Mass Transit Rail Project inches forward, there's some pilikia brewing over getting rid of trees in the rail line's way. The Outdoor Circle is saying that the City is not being as forthcoming as it should be about the removal of the trees for the project. City officials disagree. Some 900 trees are set to be cut down. Jim Mendoza will have the latest, tonight at 5:30 on KHNL.

It looks like getting Osama bin Laden is boosting approval ratings for President Obama. Tonight at 5, what percentage of Americans polled approve of the job he's doing.
