HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After nearly 33 hours, Kauai is no longer under a flash flood warning. The National Weather Service in Honolulu allowed the warning to expire at 9:30 a.m.

However, forecasters also extended a Flash Flood Watch until 6 p.m. Tuesday for all islands except the Big Island of Hawaii.

The flash flood watch means that conditions are still present for dangerous flash flooding to occur. Monitor forecasts and be prepared to take action if a flash flood warning is issued.
