Suspect charged in Aiea Shopping Center shooting

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man suspected in last month's shooting at Aiea Shopping Center was charged Saturday.

Joseph Pasion was charged with second degree attempted murder, criminal property damage, illegal procession of a firearm and place to keep ammunition.

He is currently in custody and unable to post the $350,000 bail.

Pasion was a person of interest in the case involving the shooting of a man outside of Aiea Bowl on April 29th, 2011. The victim in the shooting was not seriously hurt.

Police arrested Pasion at 1:30 a.m. on Friday in Kalihi after they had seized his car.
