HMSA Teen Video Winners

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)-More than 224 public service announcements (PSA) were submitted by middle and high school students from across the state in the 2011 HMSA Teen Video Awards contest. The contest challenged students to create PSAs about health issues that they feel are important to teens. The PSA's needed to reflect this year's theme  - "Your Choice Today Impact Tomorrow." There are three categories – physical health, mental health & social health – and a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize will be awarded in each category.  Winners will receive $1,500, $750 and $300 respectively to purchase video equipment or software for their school. Check out the video!
