HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Michael K. Nakada, 30, of Honolulu has been identified as the man killed in a single-vehicle crash just before midnight Thursday on the H-1 freeway.
Police say Nakada lost control of his truck on the curve of the H-1 at the Pali Highway onramp.
The truck went airborne and crashed into a retaining wall.
He was pronounced dead at the Queen's Medical Center. Police are not sure if he was drinking, but they do believe he was speeding.
