HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former University of Hawaii great Eddie Klaneski is returning to the football field.
The two-time All-WAC defensive back was named head varsity coach at Damien Memorial High School today.
Klaneski, one of the most popular players in UH history was selected one of the 100 all-time greatest players in school history by the Honolulu Star-Bulletin in 2009.
The 35 year old has been an assistant coach at Damien for the last six years. Last year he was the teams defensive coordinator.
