KEA'AU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's time to feature another cool school and in honor of Merrie Monarch week we chose a school on the island of Hawaii. Nawahi high school is a public Hawaiian immersion school. The lower school is a charter school. They have a 100% graduation rate and 80% of their students go off to college. Nawahi has grown from just a handful of students 17 years ago to the 250 they boast today. The University of Hawaii at Hilo laboratory school is very "cool" - Malika shows us why.
