Local Scientist on Discovery Channel's "Hogs Gone Wild"

KONA, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Discovery Channel's hit series "Hogs Gone Wild" returns! Airing in Hawaii Tuesdays at 7:00pm right after The Deadliest Catch. Dr. Andrew West has been in Hawaii 30 years since his family and he moved from Australia in 1981. He's a marine biologist by trade specializing in blue marlin but currently spends much of his time trapping hogs. Malika Dudley spent some time with him on the Big Island to learn about the feral pig problem and what trappers like Dr. West are doing to help get it under control.

See video to the right for the Sunrise segments that aired this morning.
