HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A carjacking suspect, who allegedly led police on a wild chase down several streets using multiple stolen vehicles last week, appeared before an Oahu judge Monday.

Michael Manning is charged with three counts of robbery. He remains in custody, unable to post $250,000 bail.

Investigators say he and Mark Ahnee, 28, were on a crime spree last Thursday -- stealing and ditching vehicles -- when officers caught up with them in East Oahu.

Ahnee was shot and killed by police.

An autopsy on Monday revealed that Ahnee died from blood loss after he was shot in the thorax and suffered injuries to his spleen, kidney and lung. Final toxicology results are pending.

A preliminary hearing for Manning is tentatively set for Wednesday.
