PHOCUSED rally to protect social service funding

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - PHOCUSED (Protecting Hawaii's Ohana Children Under Served Elderly and Disabled) is holding a rally Thursday at the State Capitol to try and protect social services from budget cuts.

According to the group, budget cuts to the Health and Human Services sector have gone too far.

PHOCUSED says our safety net of services to our most vulnerable residents cannot withstand any further reductions and we must find the revenues necessary to take care of those most in need during these tough economic times.
