Early morning crash claims life of Big Island teenager

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A teenager on the Big Island has died, after her car allegedly rolled over early Saturday morning. It happened on Ahulani Street in Kailua-Kona.

Fire officials say around 2:30 a.m., they found an 18 year old female trapped inside the vehicle. They had to remove the driver-side door to release the victim, but were unable to save her life.

Three passengers were also injured, but are in stable condition. Those include a 15 year old female, plus two males aged 19 and 21.

Authorities do not have any information on what caused the accident at this time.
