HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Local musician Jack Johnson will be joining the roster of entertainers for the "Kokua For Japan" event scheduled for Sunday, April 10.
Johnson was on his "To The Sea" tour in Osaka when the devastating earthquake and tsunami struck Japan.
Johnson recently announced a donation of $50,000 to GlobalGiving's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.
Tickets are sold out for the "Kokua For Japan" event, but the public can still support the cause. The event will be broadcast live on KHNL, KGMB and KFVE and on radio.
All of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross for the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief efforts.
