WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) - The man who died during a getaway after stealing beer from an ABC Store has been identified.
According the Medical Examiner's office, the man was identified as 22-year-old Eric Decatur of Kaaawa.
According to police, Decatur stole two 12-packs of beer from the store at the Hyatt Regency. He then ran down Koa Street where he dropped the beer, tripped and fell right under a tour bus.
He was dragged about 100 feet to his death.
