Teddy Bear Round-Up

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)- Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii Fourteenth Annual Teddy Bear Round-Up and Family Resource Fair. Help bring a bit of light into the life of an abused keiki by donating a new or gently used stuffed animal, which will be given to a child somewhere across Hawaii during time of need. More than 10,000 teddy bears and other cuddly creatures are needed for abused and neglected children in Hawaii, and we can't do it without the community's assistance. Child Abuse Prevention Month has been observed each April for over 25 years. This annual Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii event is the state's highlight of the month-long series of events that highlight this critical issue. Please join us for local entertainment, cuddly costume characters and free parenting tips in a fun setting. Show you care, and share a bear! Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pearlridge Center's Uptown Center Court. Check out the video!
