HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The murder trial of an alleged killer has ended with no verdict.
It's the second mistrial in three years.
Patrick Deguair is accused of shooting Jermaine Duckworth in the back of his head at Yokohama Bay in 2008.
The latest trial featured a fellow criminal who claimed Duckworth begged for his life before Deguair killed him as revenge for talking to police about a robbery the pair took part in.
On Tuesday, jurors told the judge they were deadlocked. According to prosecutors, they do plan to try Deguair for a third time.
