HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A community meeting regarding the tsunami recovery efforts of Keehi Boat Harbor will be held on Thursday.
During the meeting, state representatives and organizations will discuss the progress of pier improvements.
"The safety of our boaters and community comes first. We'd like to work with the community to discuss needed improvements to the harbor and to ensure that our safety plan is effective in the event of another disaster," Sen. Chun Oakland (District 13) said.
The public is invited to join the meeting, which will be held at the Keehi Boat Club from 5 to 6 p.m.
