KONA, BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Kona Village Resort says 263 of its hotel workers are out of a job.
The tsunami that struck the islands on Mar. 11 flooded the complex, leaving the facility inoperable.
According to the Kona Village Resort's CEO, the facility will need to shut down indefinitely and may never re-open.
Workers' health benefits will expire at the end of the month.
