Hawaii students can enter art show in Washington D.C.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - High School students do you want to have your art displayed at the U.S. Capitol?

Then enter the 2011 "Kulia i ka nu'u" Congressional Art Competition.

The winner gets $1,000 dollars and the artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.

Everyone who enters will be invited to a reception hosted by Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa.

The deadline to enter is April 15th. Log onto the Hanabusa's web site for details.
