Halekulani & Nobu Waikiki to hold fundraiser for Japan tsunami victims

WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) – Three chefs, one charity event.

A Waikiki luxury hotel is cooking up a plan to raise money for the Japan tsunami victims. Halekulani has partnered with restaurant Nobu Waikiki to hold an April foodie fundraiser.

"We are sensitive to the situation in Japan and wish to show our solidarity with a country with whom we share deep cultural, political, and economic ties, not to mention countless personal bonds of friendship and respect," said Halekulani Corporation Chief Operating Officer Peter Shaindlin.

The fundraiser will be held Thursday, April 21 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Hau Terrace at Halekulani
