Competing for a job at the shipyard

Six thousand people showed up to show interest in 150 job openings. It's part of an annual career fair for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, which may be filling more spots because of upcoming retirements.

Also, fire and rescue crews are searching for a missing body boarder off Sandy Beach ... firefighters are still busy on the Big Island battling a blaze at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park ... and a group of Boy Scouts from Japan didn't cancel their trip to Hawaii after the earthquake and tsunami, and are in the islands this weekend.
