Ramp work causes increase in Ewa air traffic

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Ewa residents can expect to hear more planes in the sky on Wednesday.

The Honolulu International Airport will be temporarily closing one of their runways from 6 a.m to 10 a.m. on Wednesday for maintenance work.

The scheduled maintenance will result in an increase in air traffic and noise over the Ewa plains area.
