HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man accused of stabbing two brothers in Waikiki last Friday has been charged with multiple offenses and was scheduled to make his initial appearance at Honolulu District Court Monday.
James Caton, 43, is charged with first-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree attempted murder, second-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree sexual assault, and third-degree promoting dangerous drugs.
Investigators say it all started when Caton allegedly fondled a woman. She reported it to her sons, who then confronted the suspect. The argument escalated and Caton allegedly stabbed the brothers.
The victims, ages 22 and 18, were taken to a hospital in guarded condition.
Police also booked the suspect on three outstanding warrants. His bail is set at $100,000.
