Bows Bust Out Bats

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – One of Matt Sisto's best outings of the season went virtually under the radar Friday night. But if the Bows continue to swing the bats the way they did in game 1 against Centenary, the senior probably won't mind the anonymity.

Sisto struck out seven batters, scattered six hits and allowed just one earned run in a career high 8 innings en route to a 10-1 Rainbow win and improving the Bows to 8-9. Hawaii's bats started out hot and ceased to cool down, scoring eight runs in their first three innings of play.

In his first game as a Rainbow, Garrett Champion batted 3-4 with two runs and two RBI, including one double and a homerun. Kolten Wong added two hits, one run, and three RBI, and Sean Montplaisir recorded two hits, one run, and one RBI.

The Bows and Gents will suit up for game two of the series Saturday night at 6:35 p.m.
