Aloha! Here are some of the stories we're working on for Hawaii News Now at 5 and 5:30 on this Wednesday.
TREE FALLS ON CITY BUS
Terrifying moments today for those on board a City bus. As it was exiting the Pali Highway tunnels -- town side -- a tree fell on the bus. There are reports of serious injuries. Brooks Baehr will have a full report tonight at 5.
WILD & WINDY WEATHER
That tree may have been pulled down by the high winds many of us felt today. We'll tell how long the wild, windy weather will last. Ben Gutierrez will have all the details on Hawaii News Now.
NEW TSUNAMI VIDEO
Amazing new video of just how powerful the tsunami waves that hit Hawaii were. We have video from a store on the Kona coast that had its cameras rolling as the waves rolled in. We'll show them to you tonight at 5.
JAPAN TSUNAMI'S IMPACT ON JAPANESE ARRIVALS HERE
And what has been the impact from the quake and tsunami in Japan on arrivals here in the islands? Lisa Kubota will answer that for you tonight at 5.
And a story of quick thinking and a life saved. Six Hawaii college students stepped up and, today, they were honored for their heroism in saving a man's life. They preach a simple skill we should all know. A story you won't want to miss. It's tonight at 5:30.
I hope you'll join me for these stories and more tonight on Hawaii News Now at 5 and 5:30. See you then!
