Nainoa Thompson reflects on Herb Kane's legacy

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii is mourning the loss of acclaimed artist Herb Kane.

He passed away Tuesday night on the Big Island at the age of 82. Kane helped preserve Hawaiian culture and history through his art and his actions.

Ramsay Wharton checked in with Nainoa Thompson to talk about Kane's impact on the islands.
