Aloha and good afternoon, here are some of the stories we're working on for Hawaii News Now Tuesday at 5 and 5:30.
WAIANAE PARK BEING CLEARED OF HOMELESS
Keaau Beach Park in Waianae is getting some attention. The City has moved out about 200 homeless people there. When will the park be useable by area residents? Tim Sakahara will have that for you tonight at 5.
HAWAII TEENS HAVING LESS BUT RISKIER SEX
The results of a survey of Hawaii teens by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention show that Hawaii teens are engaging in less sexual intercourse. That's the good news. The bad news is that of those that are sexually active are not doing it safely. What local experts say can be done to stem this growing trend. That's tonight at 5:30.
Heavy rains drench parts of Oahu. That meant flooding in some areas of Waikane on the windward side of the island. That story is at 5.
I hope you'll join Stephanie Lum and me for these stories and more tonight on Hawaii News Now at 5 and 5:30. See you then!
