What's happens now to the Akaka bill?

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewNow) - The Office of Hawaiian Affairs Friday talked about the impact Senator Akaka's announcement that he will not run for reelection in 2012 will have on the bill he sponsored -- the Native Hawaii Reorganization Act.

It has stalled repeatedly in Congress and its prospects for passage into law appear to be dim.
