Dinosaur Exhibit returns to Bishop Museum

HONOLULU, Oahu (HawaiiNewsNow) - Dinosaurs Unearthed returns to the Bishop Museum. First featured in the fall of 2009, the moving, roaring dinosaurs of Dinosaurs Unearthed is back with its dramatic full-sized T Rex on the Museum lawns.

The new exhibit is called Dinosaurs Unearthed: Feathered Discoveries. This time the T Rex will be joined outdoors by a 55 foot long Apatosaurus ("Brontosaurus-type") dinosaur. The indoor exhibit will feature a special emphasis on feather dinosaurs. The exhibit mixes animatronic dinosaurs with replicas of dinosaur skeletons and interactive displays featuring some of the newest information about these ancient creatures.
