HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)- Anne Hathaway and Gwyneth Paltrow cashed in at the Oscars, they were both paid big bucks to wear designer jewelry. Co-host Hathaway was reportedly paid $750,000 to wear Tiffany & Co. gems onstage. Paltrow took home $500,000 to wear earrings, a brooch and ring from Louis Vuitton. Reps for both Paltrow and Hathaway say the payment claims are "incorrect."
Also, Anne Hathaway has confirmed she'll play Catwoman in the next Batman movie. When she was announced as having joined the cast, producers said only that she was playing the part of Selina Kyle, Catwoman's alter-ego.
When he's not filming, Robert Pattinson watches episodes of Two and a Half Men in his trailer. RoPatt tells Vanity Fair: "I never change the channel in my trailer. I just watch reruns of House of Payne and Two and a Half Men." And he's a big fan of Charlie Sheen, too: "I like crazy people who don't give a (bleep)."
Warner Bros. has set July 7 for the world premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 for London.
The seven Potter films have grossed more than $6 billion worldwide. The final picture will open worldwide during the July 13-15 period.
The Fighter has generated quite a lot of buzz, especially after the Oscars, so much so that an unlikely sequel may be on the way.
With her foot in his lap during lunch, Scarlett Johansson, got friendly with Sean Penn at a restaurant in Los Angeles Monday. The two were seen smiling and laughing together during the meal and one source inside the restaurant says Scarlett covered the bill. Rumors of their "fling" have been swirling since January.
