Man arrested for Salt Lake stabbing

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police have arrested James Winters, 51, in connection with the stabbing of a 35-year-old man in Salt Lake at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim was stabbed several times in the chest and stomach and taken in critical condition to an area hospital.

According to police, the two men were in a driveway on Salt Lake Boulevard when a fight broke out.

The suspect, who has a Salt Lake Boulevard address, was arrested at the scene and police are investigating a second-degree attempted murder case.
