Update: Lake Wilson continues to drain

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - As we first reported last night, Lake Wilson's water level has dropped dramatically as much as 20 feet, because of a broken valve.

The valve, which controls the water level during heavy rains, is stuck in the open position.

Dole Foods leases the reservoir and says it crews are working to fix the problem.

The state is also testing the oxygen levels in the water to see if there is enough for the fish to survive.
