HONOLULU, Oahu (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii's Girl Scouts will be putting their business and entrepreneurial skills to practice as the nation's premier business and economic literacy program for girls hits the streets with the Girl Scout Cookie® Booth Sale period.
From March 4-27, 2011 Girl Scouts will be selling all eight delicious flavors including Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Lemon Chalet Cremes, Dulce de Leche and Thank U Berry Munch.
Pre-orders placed during the advance sale period (January 2011) will be delivered beginning on February 24, 2011, when more than a quarter-million boxes of Girl Scout Cookies® arrive in the islands.
This year, Girl Scout Cookie® technology is also going mobile with the launch of the new Cookie Locator Mobile App - an application for smart phones that allows users to find Girl Scout Cookie® sales near them. Customers can see location and sale dates and times as well as learn more about Girl Scout cookies. The mobile app is free and available for iPhones, Androids and web-enabled smart phones (such as the Blackberry).
