Three coqui frogs found on Oahu

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Three coqui frogs were found on Oahu this week. One each from Monsarrat Ave., in Kapolei and in Waikiki.

Coqui frogs are found throughout the world and came to Hawaii with plants from the Caribbean.

Coqui are non-poisonous and are about the size of a quarter, but have a very loud nighttime song which has become a problem for people on the neighbor islands.

The photo was taken in Rep. Clift Tsuji's office. Tsuji is the House chairman of the Agriculture Committee.
