HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The new, "100 percent" sober Charlie Sheen has found a more wholesome way to have a little fun -- and spend a little money. The Two and a Half Men actor says he flew baseball stars past and present to his home to watch his 1989 hit, Major League. Sheen also brought in the movie's writer and director, David S. Ward, to give an introduction in his private theater. And he let some of the players try on Babe Ruth's 1927 World Series ring, which he bought at an auction more than a decade ago.
Charlie Sheen says he's ready and willing to play Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn in another Major League sequel.
John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are enjoying some R&R at a private beach house here in the islands. The family is in town where they celebrated John's birthday. The actor turned 57 on February 18 - happy belated b-day, John!! Speaking of John, he may soon be hitting the big screen to play NYC mob boss John Gotti Sr. Reports are that he's "in serious talks", a source says the upcoming film is "one of four projects [John is] considering at this time."
